March 3, 2008 -- TOLEDO, Ohio - Barack Obama yesterday lashed out at political enemies who are spreading false rumors that he's a closet Muslim as he proclaimed, "I pray to Jesus every night."

"I am a devout Christian," he told voters in this key state.

"I pray to Jesus every night and try to go to church as much as I can."

If her were a republican, we’d have the media working to get photos of him every Sunday “trying to go to church” (on the golf course, drinking with friends, windsurfing, etc.)

Yeah, that's why we had all those photo essays of George W Bush and Reagan not attending services.

I think the bottom line to that is do the Radical Muslims our enemies believe that he is an apostate?

If his father was muslim by his own admission the Radical Muslims believe that the fathers son inherits his faith so Obama is a Muslim to them.

If Obama claims he is a Christian then to the Muslims he becomes a Murtadd, Apostate and according to the Quran... Muhammad said “man baddala Dinahu faqtuluhu” (Whosoever changes his religion, Kill him.

Would’nt Obama as CINC mean to the Radical Islamists that their Killing of American soldiers takes on a religious connotation?

Could it be argued then logically that an Obama Presidency would make America less safe?

Wonder where the NY Times is with this story... and no wonder why Obama wants it kept under wraps.

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. My question was rhetorical to some extent, since I have feared for some time that we are being led down a primrose path, especially given the nature of “taqqiya”.

I hate getting into the business of conspiracy theories, since so much of that seems utterly insane, but you have to wonder why none of this has been pointed out by the religious authorities and so-called “guardians of the faith” (Islam, that is).

We pray to God, the Father, though faith in God the Son and it is communicated by the unfathomable moanings of God the Holy Spirit, who indwells the believer.

God the Son is not the Father, but they both are of one essence.

The Ten Commandedments tell us to keep holy the Lord’s Day. So.....................if he only goes to church “when he can”, he doesn’t keep this Commandment.

Certainly not to defend the man, as there are other reasons he should not be considered a Christian...the biggest being his support of abortion...but his not going to church is not breaking this Commandment. I can keep the Lord's Day holier by praying in earnest from home than a hypocrite can making a purely public showing of attendance at church every week.
