This country was founded on Christian principles that include, among many others, helping others...but NOT being their "keeper". A "keeper" is easily another word for a tyrant.

Within the Christian principles of compassion and charity...ie. helping others who need our help...the country was much more founded upon the principle that every individual is responbsible for themselves and their own actions...to themselves, to one another, and accountable under the law.

EVERY Democrat believes we are that kind of country. They hate it and think it’s always the bad guy in any context, current or historical.
