BOGOTA, Colombia President Alvaro Uribe said Tuesday that his government would ask the International Criminal Court to try Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez for financing and supporting Colombia's main rebel group while it was engaging in genocide.
The Uribe government claims documents found in the laptop of a slain commander of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia indicate Chavez's government recently gave $300 million to the group known as the FARC

Bravo!
And the International Criminal Court will do what about it?
Kennedy didn’t follow through and we got 50 years of Fidel.
Chavez is a sly fool who is pushing every button in South America to create problems.
Have an expensive, protracted show trial which will result in liable charges being filed against the Brazilians for having the gal to accuse saint Victor, the peoples living martyr of anything as seemly as complicity in mass murder.
Isn’t chavez the appointed judge of that court?
he may have to stay at home, or only a very few outside countries, like Bolivia, Ecuador and Cuba.
Raoul will be the middle man now to keep the money flowing and be the cut out to keep Chavez in good graces, watch for Cuba to start playing a bigger role behind the scenes now that Chavez got his paddies slapped.
how could I forget Iran.
Don’t forget Iran.
;)
My bad.. you’re in Cali! Even worse!
Yes and let’s face it, we wouldn’t give two *hits about Venezuela if their was no oil. How much sanctions has North Korea received from violating multiple arms and proliferation treaties? Of course Iran and Iraq have had them. I don’t think my simple connect the dots mathematics is out of line. Can we please actually drill in ANWR and offshore, pretty please Ms. Pelosi? We know seals are more important than people but just this once, pretty please?
El Hugo is in way over his head. I mean waaaaaaay over his head.
I have walked in ANWAR and can tell you about the only thing it is good for is raising Caribou and drilling for oil.
In the next 500 years I wonder how many Americans will actually visit that area and experience it’s desolation.
Probably not many.
...you’re looking to a liberal group to hold a liberal accountable?
Good luck with that...
I never been there but my point was not lost on deaf ears. I also believe war will occur to wake us up. More likely a ME war where supply is temporarily disrupted. While the U.S. government has stocked up on supply, the average consumer will be screaming for blood. People are starting to go nuts! Every day their is new shootings where the gunmen then takes his own life.
Times are going to have to become much tougher to change our political system and that’s a shame, you would figure people could start becoming more proactive about how they manage their lives and whom they vote for. Instead, it’s likely hundreds of thousands of us will have to die before it changes and let’s pray that number does not become millions.
