Jimmy Carter said Chavez election was fair and balanced and not corrupt and that he was an outstanding supporter of democracy. And all of the other democrats, liberals, and Hollywood elite (but I repeat myself) said that too.
Not a typical Communist thug intent on spreading his socialism and warfare to neighboring countries.......

"They say the new president of their country will be (Barack) Obama," noting that Obama rejects both the Bush administration's free trade agreement with Colombia and the current military aid program.
