but those ‘true’ conservatives could be counted on to support congressmen who wanted lots of pork and new entitlements like medicare part D.
They’d even vote for the republican nominee who wanted mandated universal health care, something even obama opposes.
You obviously haven’t been paying any attention to the polls. John McCain is going to wipe the floor with the Dim come November without your help. And that’s what really gets you, isn’t it? You are no longer relevant in today’s political process. Conservatives are rapidly committing suicide via extremism.
Let's pray MeCain picks a more Conservative running mate which shouldn't be that difficult.
But knowing MeCain he will give Conservatives the finger one more time and select another Conservative Liberal Republican like himself for a running mate.
(MeCain called himself that the other day if you missed it.)
Logically, then: you have nothing whatsoever to fret about, any longer... right?
Right?
well you wont be destroying the democratic party by voting for the McCainiac if thats what you are thinking (LOL)
I completely agree. Everything must be done to make sure that the dims do not win back the White House. The people here who call themselves conservatives yet are perfectly willing to allow someone like Obama or Hillary become president, all because they feel that doing so will "send the republicans a message", are sickening and immature.
Nevermind that the person that the person they will vote for now isn't even running anymore, or wasn't running in the first place.
Nevermind that their guy couldn't get enough support to win in the primaries.
Nevermind that the notion of "sending the republicans a message" is exactly what gave us the despicable dem Congress we have now that won't even vote on legislation allowing us to spy on terrorists.
Nevermind that not supporting the candidate that made it through the republican primary will hand the presidency to the party that has been pushing hard for higher taxes, surrender against the Islamonazis, abortion on demand, and left wing activist judges.
I just hope that the people who refuse to vote for the republican nominee are comfortable with having the country go through a Carter-like economic disaster, severely weakened national security, defeated and embarrassed military withdrawl, and more cases of socialist judges legislating from the bench than we've ever seen. I also don't want to single a single word from them when this all comes to pass, which certainly will happen if they are serious about their threats.
If you say so, lamb.
The question asked, that you insist has been answered, but in FACT has not, rquires either 'yes' or 'no'.
You tend to respond to the question (after excising all the fluff) will you or won't you ... vote for McCain ... with the classic dodge ..."Well Fred, that's a good question, and I've given it careful thought. ... and as I've already told you ... (etc.)"
Move to Florida ... they don't get it right either, but they know yes from no.
(I think)
Conservatives are the only conscience the GOP has ever had. McCain is NOT OK! I hope he gets his ass handed to him in November, along with the liberals now running the Republican Party.
An Obama presidency will not end the United States.
It will, however, probably end the Democrat Party.
Marxism is a proven failure and an extreme leftist as U.S. President will create such an angry backlash from the populace that a Democrat might not get elected for another 100 years.
not a bad idea.. i was trying to think of someone to write in myself.. John Galt might just be a winner
well Hugo Chavez isn’t going to be replaced by a reagan any time soon...
Dumbest and most naive post ever.
Conservatives are responsible for the 2006 defeat. You are now reaping what you have sown.
My apologies for any confusion being experienced on your end. Most of the adults I associated with on a day-to-day basis are actually capable of reading, comprehending and responding with words of more than one syllable. FReep mail me a list of all the ones that have been troubling you thus far, and we'll see if I can do anything to help you in that regard.
The question asked, that you insist has been answered, but in FACT has not.
Incorrect, obviously... unless, of course, you disagree with Team Juan's own assertions, re: their not needing conservative support in '08. Is that your position, then? You'll be the first Juan cheerleader to answer that question in an honest, straightforward manner, if so.
*snort*
We’ll vote for McPain whether we like it or not.
“It’s the War stupid” should about cover the situation. If we let the Obamanation into the WH, we lose all credibility in the Animal World out there where strength is Power. Whether we like it or not, if we APPEAR weak, we will be attacked, and with Obama in the WH, we’ll be consumed.
Hillary will avoid confrontation all possible and put us in the similar position of being weak. She would probably respond eventually, but who’s to say in time, and with what as she probably will have driven our volunteer Military off already.
Reagan was/is right: “Peace Through Strength”. I’d say the best shot at that would be with McPain.
This whole election cycle is a disgrace to our country.
The MEDIA has selected the candidates and will elect Hillary. The intellectual laziness of the general populace, spineless jellyfish will follow who ever has the most handouts.
Seeing that beast’s chipmunk face and lyin’ eyes on Fox this morning is making me ill.
Disgusting.

Oh, I'm not sweating it, NCLA. The Juanistas and other assorted amnesty shills will all begin slinking away, one by one and two by two, come the crushing electoral humiliation of their annointed two-peso whore 11/07/08. (None of 'em will have the sack requisite to explaining away all their red-faced, eye-bulging anti-conservative splutterings to the rest of us, at that point.) ;)
Par for the course for the we-have-to-lose-to-win suicide voters.
They just don't say yes or no .... not from you, anyway.
You copy and paste and say, "There's MY answer."
Vote for McCain in the general election, if he’s the nominee. Campaign work for Fred Smith for Governor in the primary, and for my State Senator in the general.
