If they did, they were stupid for doing so.

Would you rather Obama be standing unopposed today for the nomination?

As it is, neither Obama or Clinton will be able to achieve the number of delgates needed by the time the primary process ends.

Wouldn’t you rather have these two super egos bringing dirt up on each other for the next 5 months? And spending 10’s of millions of dollars doing so.

Why do you think they were stupid? Who do you think is the weaker candidate to run against Johnny Mac, Hillary or Obama? Obama has had too much momentum, he was on track to win this thing...now they will most likely have a brokered convention. THAT is a good thing.

BTW, I disagree with you.

Why?

Obama would make a worse pres than Hillary. He's certainly no better. If McCain is going to win he needs cross over votes from the rats. Keeping Hillary in causes the rats to fight internally.

Plus if Hillary wins because of Superdelegate you could have a mass black protest vote against Hillary.

Those "conservatives" and "FReepers" who voted for Hillary are fools. Rush too ought to be ashamed of himself.

Stupid is as stupid does. I hate this type of vote casting, vote your darn conscience and move on.

Agreed.

When the Clintons take office for another 8 years, Rush is going to rue the day that we could have delivered the knockout punch but held back. Who knows they may even find a way to knock him off the air. The Clintons would repeal the entire bill of rights if it suited their ends.

In Texas it looks like 600,000 voters voted for the Dem President on the ballet and did not vote for anyone else. They are thing that about 500 to 600 thousand crossed over. In Williamson County, Tarent and Fortbend went all Democratic for the first time since 1980 during a primary!

Yep, careful what you wish for. It would have been better for obama to wrap it up and then let the wheels come off after he is the duly chosen candidate. The specter of resko, nafta and all the rest to come bringing down the candidate of choice after it was too late for the dims to regroup would have been much better. We are only closer to a hillary presidency now.

Agreed. Stupid strategy from the git-go.
