It’s an invariably fatal form of cancer — and it kills quickly. I believe Michael Landon, Jack Benny, and Fred Gwynn all died from it. All quickly.
My grandfather died of pancreatic cancer and I’ve also know a couple other people who died from it. The problem is that it is very difficult to diagnose (usually the symptoms look like they should be for something else) and by the time it’s found the person generally only has a couple months to live.
Prayers for him and his family. He certainly wasn’t a “great” actor, but he was entertaining and seems like a genuinely fine person.
