Combine this with
*legislation protecting teachers who wish to “inculcate a preference for communism”
*banning of “discriminatory language” such as “mom and dad”
*requiring teaching of homosexuality as “normal” and “equally desirable lifestyle”
and you see where they’re going.
The left DEMANDS to indoctrinate your kids, and they WILL get them if you don’t fight back.
Hear hear, well said. I joined the Navy and served 20.5 years, I have defended our country and stand by its principles, but, when the attach comes from our own government, our own country what then? I am not antigovernment, regardless of who is in the whitehouse, Im not antiestablishment for it is through the establishment that our country became the greatest on earth. Now with the economy in a slump, prices soaring through the roof, they want to take our children away from us? They will have to pry my children from my cold dead fingers.
We do not home-school, but it is a right of a parent to do so if certain criteria is met and I imagine most people see it this way. If a government seizes the right to home-school from parents, even if these kids on average outperform their public school educated peers on national standardized and SAT tests, while not having the STD, teenage pregnancy, murder, drug related offenses, and suicide rates, one has to ask himself what the motive is? I'm sure the Great State of California has a good reason./sarc
