Has Condi Rice urged Israel to “show restraint”?

We’ve got 8 months of math to do! yep, 8 months where like in the old days of algebra class you’d have to figure out what the he11 the book and the teacher were talkin’ about! So...You mighta seen the headlines today:

“7 Shot in Seminary”

wow....”7 shot”......7 Jews, 7 palestinians, 7 students, 7 kids, 7 cockroaches......7 what! OK, so some of the Dinosaur media mentioned 7 Israellis, at least that’s a start!

yep, not politically correct to say 7 children if the children were ‘Americans’ (ie, head of Satan)...or 7 Jewish children ...especially Jewish...(I forget, if we’re the head of Satan, what are the Jews again?)...so... for the next 8 months you’ll have to do the math yourself! Get out the Algebra books again, that may help! Israelis just wish the ‘Americans’ who can’t get guns would stay home so the ‘target rich environments’ would stay on the American campus ‘where it belongs’!

OK, so I listened to Michael Savage speaking with a resident of Jerusalem prior to sending the above to friends and relatives....busted!

That’s the difference between the American campus and a campus in many other ‘troubled’ locations! In ‘gun free zones’ (USA), the perp has to kill himself....in Israel, a student will martyr the perp much earlier!

The gunman entered the library at the Mercaz Harav seminary on Thursday evening, where about 80 students were gathered, and fired an AK-47 rifle for several minutes, witnesses say.

One of the students, Yitzhak Dadon, reportedly shot the gunman twice before he was finally killed by an off-duty Israeli army officer, who had gone to the school after hearing gunfire.

"I shot him twice in the head," he told the Reuters news agency.

Good shooting Tex, this story is about all the lives saved by the armed student who was able to fight back.

This is outrageous. These were children - 15 and 16 year old children.

The Palestinians name their schools after terrorists and then go out and kill innocent religious Jews. Boy, are they going to be in for a rude awakening when they come to meet their maker and find out the 72 Virgin thing is a bunch of Satanic drivel and they’ll get to spend eternity with the creator of that lie, Satan himself.

Ok, Here is what I want...

1. Gaza leveled, every living thing killed and nothing left standing. I want the Arabs to see what happens when it's finally gone too far.

2. Olmert to resign as PM. He's worthless, and the fact that there has not been an IMMEDIATE response is proof of his feckless and incompetent behavior.

3. For people to realize. Islam is a cult. It lies. It says it "respects people of the book". How is murdering children learning to become men of God "respect". It isn't. Take a da$n good look America. This is the face of the enemy, and they will do this here. They've done this in Beslan, and now in Israel.

...”but the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas called the attack “heroic” while not claiming responsibility”....

May the gracious G_D condemn these murderers and their brethren to eternal death...

Sorry for my ignorance, but I don’t understand what is National Religious Zionism? Does that mean the particular philosophy of this seminary? That is different from the Hassidic or Orthodox version of Judaism? Thanks if you can clarify anything for me.

I can explain it to you, but there is a lot you wouldn't understand if you are not Jweish, or at least know a lot about it.
One of the main, if the THE main issue bet. the NR and ultra Orthodox Jews, is if the Israeli government is an “aschalta degula”, which means “the beginning of the redemption”, while the NR believe it is, and will go fight in the Tzhal, most ultra Orthodox, and Hasidim jews don't think so, and of course there are those Jews who don't support the whole concept of a Jewish government.
I will explain to you a lot more on this when I have more time, (if its important to you, of anyone else here)

As thejoke goes, when a genie asks Osama what he wants , he says a giant wall surrounding the ME where no infidel can come. The genie asks Bush, and Bush says, fill it up with water! Just so. Not one of these Arab nutters is worth crying over or supporting or funding. I hope the Israelis hit back with Daisy Cutters all through Gaza and kill every one of the Hamas, Hez killers. My only worry really is for some innocent Christian Pal getting killed.

Thanks, I’m not Jewish, but I have been concerned about the Israeli situation for many years. The excerpt below from another article explains a bit why this school would be a target. Does it get at what you’re describing?
I have known many Jews and Israelis and never had the impression any of them were religious at all, in terms of believing in a powerful concept like “the beginning of redemption.” That seems to make a link between religious and political goals? It sounds almost like the fundamentalist protestants that interpret the Bible as meaning certain things must happen, literally, with the State of Israel before Christ can return. (Which is nonsense to mainstream Christianity.) Is this a small minority within Judaism? (Don’t spend alot of time answering, I can do some research, but I appreciate your enlightening me about this idea!) THANKS.

“...The yeshiva is famous, a symbol of the national religious strain of Judaism that provides the backbone of the settler movement. After the 1967 war, the national religious movement was the ideological father of the idea of redemption through reclaiming the land. The yeshiva itself was founded in 1924 by Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook, and it is considered an elite institution, with 400 students...”
