Two Palestinian terrorists entered the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Kiryat Moshe on Thursday night and opened fire at students inside.
Eyewitnesses said that they saw four people dead, Channel 1 reported.
Magen David Adom has confirmed casualties but the number of wounded was unknown. MDA has confirmed that one of the terrorists was killed.
MDA described the incident as a "multi-casualty incident."
Police were closing off the area.

Arab Terrorists Attack Jerusalem's Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva: 8 Dead

(IsraelNN.com) Two Arab terrorists infiltrated Jerusalem's Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva at around 8:30 Thursday night and murdered eight Jews. At least 40 people have been wounded; one is in critical condition and a second victim was wounded moderately.
The attackers opened fire on the students before one of them was gunned down himself. A second terrorist apparently escaped and may be hiding in the yeshiva building. Security forces are deployed in the surrounding neighborhood, with police scouring the yeshiva and connected buildings. All the students have been evacuated, according to police spokesmen.
50 ambulances responded to the scene, which emergency responders have called "a major incident."
The Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva is located near the entrance to Jerusalem, in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood. The yeshiva, founded by Rabbi Avaraham Yitzhak Kook, is at the heart of the national-religious movement in Israel.
I suggest a long term artillery barrage to start things off. Follow that up with a week or so of non-stop napalm strikes and you'd have a pretty good start.

In general I'd agree, however this is a right wing Israeli source (which is usually good on breaking news). It's an English version directed at the US, not translated from Hebrew, still my guess in this instance it's simply a language thing.
IMHO, Gaza and the West Bank should not only be occupied...they should be made a part of Israel.
After the terrorists and all those abetting them are crushed with extreme prejudice...the remaining people there who have no terrorist ties, should have the opportunity to either swear allegiance to Isareal and start a track towards citzenship...or be forthwith deported. Anyone with terrorist ties should be either incarcerated or executed depending on the severity of their crimes.

The ONLY reason Olmert got semi-tough with Gaza last week is one of those quassams killed an Israeli and he was under intense pressure to do something.
Olmert is concerned about his political survival foremost, and if he wants to survive he’s going to have to get tough or else Labor and/or Shas will walk from his coalition govt and new elections will have to be held.
No surprise there. The only thing better than killing 8 Rabinnical students would be killing 8 young women, thus wiping out multiple generations.
