Terri Schiavo's Family Launches New Radio Program on Protecting the Disabled

Tampa, FL (LifeNews.com) -- The foundation that Terri Schiavo's family created after her death is continuing its efforts to help the elderly and disabled obtain appropriate medical care. The foundation is launching a new radio program on a Tampa station that will be simulcast on the Internet and later expanded to other Florida stations.

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation will start the new America's Lifeline program this weekend life from the Tampa studios of Talk Radio 860 WGUL, a Christian station.

Prominent radio health care advocate Cary Hall will co-sponsor the program along with Terri's brother Bobby Schinder and her sister Suzanne Vitadamo, the foundation's directors.

Hall is also the host of a successful radio show called The Health Insurance Advocate which broadcasts from two Midwest stations.

"America's Lifeline is something we've wanted to do for some time," Vitadamo told LifeNews.com on Thursday.

"With Cary Hall's health care expertise my family's experience trying to save Terri, and now running her foundation which works to save those like Terri, we'll be able to educate Americans and raise awareness about the euthanasia movement like never before," she added.

Vitadamo said the program would focus on controversial cases of people who have been subjected to potential euthanasia or denial of lifesaving medical treatment, such as Lauren Richardson in Delaware.

It will help people learn about the best advanced directives for treatment, learn about the dangers of assisted suicide, focus on state and federal laws and explain how hospice care can be helpful.

The program will also delve into the controversial futile care theory whereby hospitals and doctors are more routinely giving up on providing care for patients they consider "too far gone."

The America's Lifeline debut is set for 3 PM EST on Saturday, March 15, 2008 and it will also be streamed worldwide via the Internet at http://860wgul.townhall.com.

The program is poised to expand into other Florida radio markets including Orlando and Miami.

BO needs to realize that Fort Marcy Park (or any other place that Hillary suggests for a “secret” meeting) equals Mexico City circa 1940 and an ax.

This “new era” will consist of billions of dollars being poured into junk science that private biotech firms are unwilling to invest a penny in. And what people fail to realize is the reason that these private groups are unwilling to invest money in ESCR is not because they have any moral objection to slaughtering babies, because they don’t, their unwillingness is due solely to the fact that they realize it’s a waste of money.

When is the media going to acknowledge that there are non-embryonic stem cells that private companies are investing billions of dollars researching, without asking the taxpayers to chip in a dime, and that they are achieving incredible results?

Fort Marcy Park was once on my commute home. I would stop there often, for a break, and can easily imagine the brutal, blunt and effective Stalinist end poor Foster met. It was not so messy, but effective, if clumsy. How soon we forget how her Imperial Majesty prowled the halls of the Old Executive Office Building as her subjects averted their eyes in terror.

I often wondered if Chelsea was a Foster child and if it was a “Don’t ax, don’t tell...” like with Trotsky.

I know several people who know the Clintons and they ALL talk about what a charming person he is (unless he’s alone with a woman who spurns his advances), but NOBODY has ever said anything nice about her.

You may be confusing Foster with Webb Hubbell who was rewarded for his loyalty with a prison cell.

Of course if BO is so concerned about how black Americans have been oppressed, he might want to take up the cause of Danny Williams:

Ah yes, looking through the Hubble scope at the morph, we can see he may be the Foster Parent. Maybe Huma is TERRIfied. And the picture of Bill and his little Willie is something to ponder too.

In his biography of Barack Obama, David Mendell writes about Obama’s life as a “secret smoker” and how he “went to great lengths to conceal the habit.”

BO should ask the "first black president" who was quite adept at hiding his cigars.

(With apologies to BB, FV or any of the other ladies who might be offended by this remark.)

A couple of years ago I was thinking about buying a large Elie Bleu humidor (I was also trying to figure out a way to explain to my wife that I really did need to spend $3000+ on a humidor), but then they came out with their Che Guevara line and I changed my mind.

I e-mailed them and told them that if they followed the same pattern but substituted Monica they would probably sell out in an hour.

There is a law that permitted Bo Gritz to buy Terri's freedom. I believe he tried to buy Terri's freedom from J. Greer but Greer said no. It's an obscure law but Greer was hell bent on killing Terri and he was in a big hurry to please Mikey and the deathbots.

Gritz went to the Clerk's Office with the paperwork and the money. Ken Burke, Clerk of Courts, Pinellas Cty. Burke would attend the vigils at night incognito. I now believe he was there to SPY for Judge Greer. I could have pointed Ken Burke out to the media but I wasn't there to get Burke in trouble or exposed. I was there tryin' to help Terri.

McCain is ignorant re: religion. The truth be told that freedom of religion is one of our rights and being a Christian with morals does not make us one monolithic group. If he wants to lump us together as "the religious right", I don't have to vote for him. If freedom of religion makes McCain uncomfortable, when will MCCAIN HAVE TO DO HIS RELIGION SPEECH????? Romney did a briliant one. Don't count on McCain ever giving a religion speech.

Did you see that Crist doesn't help McCain's ticket? I bet Charlie's having a sad day... boo hoo. Democrats aren't in love with Charlie Crist as they were a year ago. He's been pandering to them before and since he became gov. Now they turn on him. Sorry, Charlie.

Going back three years, the FDLE had already turned around once while on the way to rescue Terri. This is not ever reported because Jeb never told anyone. I was on the media side when a call came in that they turned around. I was sitting this time in an msnbc chair, minding my own business and oops, there it was - a call that FDLE just turned around. Fox was to the left of msnbc which was where the Schindlers had to run a gauntlet of media from across the street at HOSTAGE WOODSIDE back to their quarters in the thrift store. There are rumors the thrift store was bugged or that there was a mole in the camp. I can neither confirm or deny. FV

I figured the thrift store was bugged, would have been surprised otherwise. I stayed away from the Fox station especially when Sean Hannity was there. It is coming back to me now... Remember David V, who was one of those arrested? I used to hang around with him a lot. Beard, sackcloth. As I recall he was about to be interviewed for the Fox morning show and was over at their booth on early morning March 31 when Fr. Pavone rushed past me and Nikki, to the Hospice entrance right at the usual spot at the entrance. My memory went dark at about that time. All I could remember is the vultures flying in from the north and making lazy circles over the hospice.

David may be coming to the activities next week and probably will be with Msgr. If so, please say HI to both from me.

No FDLE but I remember the four local cops doing their power walk or march or whatever it was. I guess it was supposed to look impressive. I guess they were going to confront the FDLE. Maybe I didn't get it all straight.

David V. and another guy tried to keep the media and the public on separate sides of the street. They were discussing their duties policing the thrift store media side. I had just crossed the street to their location. One said to the other they'd had about enough of me and the other went "uh huh". I thought it was hilarious since they missed the 2003 vigil and all the court dates and they didn't transcribe any hrgs from their notes... Yeah, they may have been sick of me but I wasn't there to make their life easier. I wasn't even annoying them and I realized they had no idea how much stuff I'd been doing for years. Sometimes, men just feel threatened by women thus they were uncomfortable that I was on both sides of the street and they had an assigned task and I was doing my own thing. It wasn't like a concert. It was not exciting or entertaining. It was being present at a murder. We kept getting such bad news that I preferred going home to receive bad news frequently. It was Terri and the Pope.

How Jeb Bush played Terri's supporters like a violin. It was his opus, his grand finale.

At least we found out the truth about Jeb, otherwise he might have become president one day and treated the entire country the way he did Terri and her family.
