Up in the top corner of the page. No drop downs, though.

To search by user, key in by:username. To search by keyword, just type it in, to search by title, you can also just key that in, as long as it isn't a keyword it will give a title search. To be safe, you can use title:some article title here to force a title search.

I'm going to make a few adjustments that will make this a little more apparent, with those changes I think most people will catch on after a few uses.

I know you must be cross-eyed and dizzy.
Thanks so much for all your hard work.

I’m totally lost on the search function.

If I type in “by username: (and the poster’s name)”, nothing
happens.

And this is the text above the search page:

“Search Words to be found in article titles.”

A poster’s name would not fit that, and nothing comes up.

Help!! Honestly, I think the way you had search
before with the dropdowns poster, title, etc. was
more effective and very much easier to navigate.
I know I and many others use the search function
constantly, both to catch up with FRiends and to
search for article titles.

Thanks again for any help you can offer.

If you don't know what the title is how can you type it in? Ten publications may have the exact same article with different titles ... so what do you do? And key words may not be added at all.

"To search by user, key in by:username..."

John this only gives us all the THREADS that person has posted. We want to be able to find the REPLY'S a certain person has posted like we used to be able to do. Like now on this type of thread. I used to be able to search your name and see all the replies you might have made to different peoples questions, but now we don't seem to be able to do that. Unless I am completely missing that type of function. HELP!
