When he says he is going to expose Global warming as the Hoax that it is ,when he will launch a major campaign to build oil refineries and turn the oil companies loose to drill everywhere and anywhere they can find it and is going to protect our borders from alien invasion and is going to fight the total waste of Give away welfare programs and expose Democrats as Left wing Commie sympathisers then I MIGHT think of voting for him.

"Many conservative leaders did not support him, but he is a proud conservative Republican who thinks he can earn their support in the general election," Mr. [Charlie] Black added.

Mr. Black is full of dung.

the only thing I have for McCain is CONTEMPT, and a prayer that he will die of a stroke or heart attack before November. He will not receive my vote. If America is going to go to hell then so be it. Let a democrat lead the way, they have the map and know the road very well.

Charlie Black. One of Poppa Bush's condescending and smug advisers. Swell.

Oh I comment on McCain a plenty and so many others.

And early on every thread you’ll get some McCain paid maniac telling you that you’re a child, that you should bend over and pay the piper, that all the things that McCain did to you through the years was nothing really, just little things...get over it.

And oh, they will also come back and say things like “McCain is anti-abortion, he will appoint good judges” and we must sit out here like the stupid fools we are and forget that Gang of Fourteen slap and those words of McCain himself that Alito wore his conservatism on his sleeve.

Then they say McCain is good for that war, that his own sons are currently serving. And again we must forget how McCain lambasted this country’s Secretary of Defense every time he got in front of a camera. So while I maybe thought D. Rumsfeld was a real good guy, even if he wasn’t I would have had the good grace not to embrace the TV screens with my sullen presence constantly criticizing the man that I..I..I..I should have his job. Oh, and we should also forget how McCain stood up and called the Swift Boat Vets LIARS...what a fine respect for those who served. I should not wonder about a Senator who would lessen military morale by openly criticizing their leader, the Sec of Defense.

Then they say he’s a good guy with respect for the constitution and we must forget the McCain Feingold bill that trampled all over Free speech. This was one of the WORST pieces of legislation in the history of our country and has not in any way removed nasty money from politics. We should forget this attack on the constitution so the McCainiacs tell us with a straight face.

The list goes on and on with McCain and yet they come back again and again and again and finally they offer the only real argument they have and it’s pitiful. Which would be that McCain is the lesser of the evils.

Which might be but then we are to forget how each and every time this guy has a chance, even NOW as he campaigns and knows he needs to repair his relationship with the conservative base the man slaps down a guy for calling Barack by his middle name for God’s sake...we should forget McCain’s long record of slapping us down and all of a sudden we should believe that McCain will become a golden boy and overlook his obsession with “reaching across the aisle”.

The McCainiacs want to tell us the sky is red and to deny this is to destroy your party, your country, your children’s future.

When John McCain has helped the libs right along do this and ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO SLAP BACK AT THE MCCAINIACS IS LIST THE FINE EVEN-TEMPERED MAN’s OWN RECORD!

How in the hell did we get into this mess!?!?

The National GOP, in conjunction with the MSM and the big dogs in Conservative Talk Radio (especially Limbaugh), failed utterly to support the only two Conservative candidates in the race last fall, Thompson and Hunter.

Just think, if Limbaugh had given both Thompson and Hunter half the mouth time that he does now for Clinton, then we would be sitting pretty. Instead, we get nasty, decrepit McCain.

BINGO!!!!!

The paid McCain and GOP operatives show up on every McCain thread trying to smack the rest of us down for pointing out how he has regularly stabbed Conservatives and the party in the back over the past eight years.

What are you suggesting? Third Party? You know that's a loser.

Another party would not be a third party. The GOP has moved far enough to the socialist left that it has aligned it's political ideology with the socialist Democrats. They are effectively one party. Another party will restore the two party system.

[Constitution-hating coward like John McCain the presidency would be the death knell of both the GOP and America. 2012 will be a good year, if we have the manhood to wait for it.]

The GOP, like America, already is a dead institution, murdered by the weak and ignorant liberal marxists with the rino fools and nothing but the hand of God can save it. McCain is a liberal and conservatives should not vote for liberals lest they (the corrupt RNC) weaken and hurt conservatism even more. It would be better to let McCain lose than vote for the rinos.

Think about who the enemy is hoping for and vote for the other guy.

I couldn't agree more. That is why nobody should vote for McCain, Obama or Clinton.

[What a foolish thing to say. Do you enjoy embarrashing yourself?]

Do you enjoy being ignorant? And if you are going to attack a conservative, try to spell correctly lest you come off as a liberal and embarrass yourself.

But the old white guy this time around is our best shot.

Ceding your principles to a socialist simply because he as an R after his name will result in more socialism.

Truth indeed. If this country wants to destroy itself, let it happen at the hand of the democrats as they continue to lead the snakebit ignorant Americans down the pathways of death.

Man I’m glad some other Freepers are getting wise to this. although I am sure that the moderators, Robinson et al must have a clue because hey, if I figured it out....

I think they had a big meeting and obviously some of the McCain campaign people knew that he had a bad reputation with conservatives. So one of their strategies is much like the seminar callers on talk radio.

They look for threads on McCain and VERY EARLY in the thread, always one of the first two or three comments, you’ll get one of these operatives on and posting something positive about McCain. The thought is, as they taught them in campaign school, that in most cases the early commentary in a thread will set the tone for the rest of the thread. Those who disagree with the early commentary will either move on or not bother to post back.

FreeRepublic has to be one of McCain’s biggest thorns in that it is one of, if not THE most, visited of the conservative web sites. So they’ve got us targeted.

Well pat me on the back because I ALWAYS come back at them.

But be careful. I’ve had one or two snap back like a badger with rabies.

They don’t like it when you spit the truth back at them.

To these McCain operatives us anti-McCain Freepers are unreasonable pains in the butts who don’t know anything and are ultimately hurting the country for daring to point out the man’s OWN RECORD for God’s sake.

‘Republicans for Choice’ Endorses McCain

CNSNews.com Senior Staff Writer
February 06, 2008

(CNSNews.com) - The Republicans for Choice Political Action Committee has endorsed John McCain (R-Ariz.), saying he is the best candidate now that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is out of the presidential race.

(snip)

Colleen Parro, executive director of the Republican National Coalition for Life, said the endorsement should make some Republicans uncomfortable.

“My first thought was how embarrassing for the pro-lifers who have signed on for McCain,” Parro said.

(snip)

Food for thought.

You should stop with the truth already.

You are upsetting the McCain operatives!

Because like the liberal McCain is, his supporters truly believe that if you say it, if you type it, if you believe it, then by golly IT MUST BE TRUE!

Yeah, several of us have been battling these hacks for weeks now.

One of my pards on this board, who apparently was a former moderator, said that a lot of them are "sleeper cells" set up last summer or even before (to attempt to achieve some credibility through their sign-up dates) that have been activated to support McCain's candidacy. That many of these McCainiacs have heretofore never been seen on this board until recently speaks truth to this.
