To: Northern Yankee
Have you seen the show? It is fascinating. I don't know if they are looking forward to it; as with all species man-kinds end WILL come some day, to watch how the planet will go back to before man was here was/is interesting. They use Chernobyl for their example of 20 years after.

I would imagine it is interesting, but then we get back to the age old question of creation vs evolution.

Was the planet created for man?

I would imagine that if you believe in God, you would assume that it was?

It could become quite philosophical. Unfortunately most people today see man as the evil destroyer of earth, rather than its caretaker, or having dominion over all.

But as I said before, looking at the end of the earth without man, would kinda make gardening pointless. ; )
