As my wife points out, this is only an interim period in American politics. Whoever wins will be a one-termer. McCain is too old. Obama would get voted out, and Hillary would make 2010 congressionals a repeat of 1994. 2012 is the real campaign.

Yes, this is true. I have never seen a crazier presidential race. I hope that there will be reforms to allow the republicans to choose their own candidate. It certainly did not happen this time!

McCain is almost (but not quite) as bad a candidate as Dole was.
