You persist in telling us what you’re not going to do,

You persist in telling us what to do.

Some people just don’t get it. When I talk about Obama’s father being a Muslim and how the Muslims perceive Obama as a Murtadd it is the Radical enemies of the U.S. I am talking about not Americans.

I agree it is UnAmerican to question Obama’s ability to be POTUS based on his religion or ethnicity.

However, It is not UnAmerican to investigate if America will be less safe because of it.

In fact it is our patriotic duty to determine if our enemies will find a sense of renewal, a sense of emboldenment, an ability for recruitment to their Jihad if they perceive Barrack Hussein Obama is an apostate Muslim, Murtadd.

Don’t you think?

Or will we be silenced in that debate?

Will our Freedom to ask those questions be shut down because the Liberals are intolerant of anyone that does not share their views?

and so how was it justified that liberals could say that Bush Foreign policy has made America less safe when we have not been attacked since going on the Offensive against our enemies?

Hussein is his middle name. It’s just a reality. His name/heritage, paired with his desire to pull out of Iraq immediately, will likely be viewed favorably by Muslims in the middle east. I don’t see anything false in this statement. I believe his name will be a factor, whether that’s “fair” or not.

It’s up to Barack to lay out his case as to why he’s a loyal American and good for this country. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with asking questions or stating someone’s middle name. Tough questions are part of a presidential race, and I’m sure McCain will get his fair share of them.

I don’t think McCain should personally voice concerns about Barack’s name/heritage. As another poster stated, he should talk about how terrorists would react to him. However, he should not go after members of his own party that have questions and concerns. There should be no “sacred cow” that’s untouchable. What’s wrong with making sure a future CIC in 100% loyal to our nation?

Well OF Course Al Quaeda would celebrate the election of Obama. Obama says he will order an immediate unconditional surrender to the terrorists in Iraq. He opposes monitoring terrorist communications. He was one of the minority of Senators who voted against FISA. He's on record as opposing close scrutiny of visa applicants from Muslim countries—in a conference at Northwestern University in November 2005,he said such enhanced scrutiny was unacceptable “profiling” and a violation of foreigners’ civil liberties”. He would close Guantanamo and would extend full constitutional protection to foreign terrorists captured on foreign soil. He has lied and demagogued about the legitimate steps America has taken to protect itself—in the convention speech that earned him so much praise among a clueless media, he said he identified with “Arab-American families rounded up without access to attorneys”, something that NEVER happened. He shares his bed and his life with a woman who hates America and makes no secret of it. His “pastor” and “mentor”—Obama’s words—is a man who believes that “white America” got what it deserved on 911. Obama believes in sum that America sucks and is always in the wrong in international relations. OF COURSE he's the Al Quaeda candidate.

what that means is a result of Mccain being elected would be a quicker run down the path toward socialism than if the dem is elected because his election will be seen as a white flag from the republicans.
To be frank, a vote for Mccain is a vote for a dem. in the whitehouse.

Hey gang, the middle name bit gives Republicans all of the respect due to a 3rd grade bully.

Get off of the petty crap and stick to the issues.

Rep. King was speaking to the issues.

"His middle name does matter," King said. "It matters because they read a meaning into that."
Why don't you stick to the issues and instead of posting inflammatory comments that seek to control discussions.

Let me spell it out for you.

A campain that suggests that we should not vote for somebody because of their name is a losing campain that makes the speaker sound foolish.
I got King’s point. It doesn’t matter if it’s valid.
It’s a lousy talking point.

In one of my many posts on this subject this mornig I suggested that we focus on the stupidity of Obama’s policies on defense, the economy, and social issues.

And the electorate is how old, mentally, these days? Have you seen Oprah's audience?

While I agree with Rep. Steve King's assessment, we are focusing on the wrong Democrat candidate here.

In my estimation, Obama has toasted himself with his apparent acceptance of his Reverend's (Jeriamiah Wright) views on America and race for 20 years. Most of "moderate" America will reject anyone who has tolerated those views in his church for all of his adult life.

Time to work on softening up Hillary! (sorry - bad mental image).

>It pretends that a name given at birth defines the man or his policies, which is a ridiculous assertion.<

The name by itself may not have that much meaning, but taken in context that Mr Obama was in a madrassa as a young child (when you are at your most impressionable) and is currently a member of a blatantly black supremacist church, the name should be pointed out to the average clueless voter, who won’t bother to study the man in depth.

“..the name should be pointed out to the average clueless voter, who won’t bother to study the man in depth.<

That lazy, sloppy, approach makes the speaker sound like the average, clueless, racist, uninformed, bigot.

It is up to responsible conservatives to point out the details and inform the ignorant. NOT sink to their level!
