In 86/87 we lost 2 young sailors aboard TR. One walked into a COD propeller and another was blown off the flight deck on perfectly calm day (we never saw him again).

What department were you in on TR? I was there too (87 to 90). I remember the guy cut in half in the prop, so it had to be ‘87. I think it was an E2C Hawkeye though. A minor detail since they are basically the same plane. Absolutely no difference to the guy killed of course.
