He is contradicting several historic Islamic leaders like Saladin who acknowledged the temple's existence when he allowed Jews and Christians to worship there.

The Islamists know less of history than the average American, and much of what they do ‘know’ is wrong. They know the grievances of a thousand years ago, but probably only know the incorrect propaganda version of THAT one as well. Everything to them is ‘all lies’ because they wake up with a lie, go to bed with a lie, and spend all day reading speaking and hearing lies. It is a way of life.
Yes, Saladin took back the Dome of the Rock “Temple” and cleaned out the trappings of the Knights Templar and turned it back into a mosque (it was built on the site of the Temple of Israel but was built as a mosque I believe). But to deny that the Temple was there is to deny History and the Bible, the God of which the Islamists purport to believe in.

He is contradicting several historic Islamic leaders like Saladin who acknowledged the temple's existence when he allowed Jews and Christians to worship there. He doesn't care. He knows its false. His audience knows its false. Telling a whopper to an enemies face face is the Arab way of telling him to go f--- himself.

you need to re-word that, the temple was torn down by Titus’ troops in 70 AD
