Actually, mohamed (may he rot forever) just didn't like dogs. He was strictly a cat person. Basically his personal preferences were the basis for an entire religion. If he hated brussel sprouts, those would probably be on the unclean list too.
Too bad he didn't have a total aversion to women - then they all would have died off hundreds of years ago.

Not suprising since dogs are very loyal to their own and human companions.
BTW, I am also a cat person, but also have a great love for animals in general, and take with interest reading articles like this.
