This coming from the most unpopular politician in Pennsylvania.

I love Rick, and am pissed off at the voters of PA for throwing him out. Nevertheless, if McCain starts SCREAMING about God and abortion, he is toast, even against a loon like Obama.

No one is asking McCain to scream, just asking him to sound convincingly in agreement with basic social conservative principles.

Methinks that would be a bit too much to ask, though. Someone needs to clue McCain in, or maybe he’s deliberately staying unclued as a way to show his independence. Some voters care about traditional marriage, life/abortion, Christian faith in our society, and values in education (no, not PC ‘values’), etc. Some dont like eco-faddism as a junk-food substitute for real Christian values.

I currently live in Pennsylvania, unfortunately. I've lived in many states. Honestly, I can't say I've come across a more willfully uninformed, blissfully ignorant constituency anywhere in this country (and I've lived in Southern California). To call them sheep would be far too kind.

Being unpopular in this place should be considered a badge of honor.
