Body of kidnapped Chaldean archbishop found in Iraq

The body of a kidnapped Chaldean Catholic archbishop was found in northern Iraq on Thursday, sparking outrage from Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki and other world leaders and expression of sadness from Pope Benedict XVI.

“Yes, we found his body,” Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Abdel Karim Khalaf told AFP, speaking of Archbishop Paulos Faraj Rahho.

A report from Rome had said that the body of Rahho was found in a shallow grave near Mosul after abductors telephoned the auxiliary archbishop of Baghdad, Shlemon Warduni.

Rahho, 65, was kidnapped on February 29 after a shootout in which three of his companions were killed.

While it was not yet known whether he died from natural causes or was killed, Malikiz and others were treating the death as murder.

The Iraqi premier “received with deep sorrow and sadness news of the killing of the archbishop by criminal terrorist gangs,” Maliki said in a statement. White House spokesman Tony Fratto said, “we offer our condolences to the church on the murder of the Chaldean archbishop in Iraq.” The French foreign ministry said, “France condemns with the greatest firmness this odious act.” Rahho’s death was also slammed by Muslim leaders, both Sunni and Shia, in Iraq.

Not surprising. The disgusting groveler before all things Mohammedan, Bush, sends “condolences” while a the new French government “condemns with the greatest firmness”.

Yes, but the “true nature” has never been hidden for those (like me) who look directly at it.

I’m sure we’ll get condolences from Osama Obama, Hillary Clintoon, Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Feinstein, Reid, Schumer, Murtha, Kennedy, Kerry and the rest of the gutless hypocrites in DC all of whom never met a terrorist they didn’t want to surrender to.

I’ll be upset with them in this regard when they are responsible for the funding of Mohammedan terrorists killing Eastern Christians and Jews. So far, of the miserable crowd you named, not one bears that responsibility, but Bush does, as does his putative successor McCain. George Bush’s legacy will be dead Christians and the smoking ruins of Eastern Christian churches from the Adriatic to the Iran/Iraq border. Throw in the dead Jews killed by a Fatah recently funded by Bush with $500,000,000.00 of our money the the dead Serbs killed by the KLA funded by $375,000,000.00 of our money and you’ve got the makings of a real legend, the story of a real MAN, someone who makes us proud...right?

Yes, and I gave a little respectful attention to Palladin's opinion since he/she is an Alpha Freeper.
