As of Thursday evening, the songs had been listened to by some 200,000. Downloads were selling for 98 cents each, though "What We Want" had previously been selling for 13 cents. Prices on the site are based on demand.

That song was also making it onto the nation's radio airwaves.

Not bad for her first day haul as americas newest sweetheart.

The Wall Street Journal has some interesting mashups of her song - the best one with Snoop Dogg’s Sensual Seduction

I don’t think little Ashley should be celebrating just yet. The IRS might want to have a chat about some back taxes.

She should think this through. Do you really want your epitath to be “Here lies the whore who took down a Governer.”

Perhaps that should be America's newest sweet tart.

At that price, she seems more reasonable at a dollar a pop.

I listened to her song on her MySpace. I thought it was actually pretty good.

Wonder if American Idol would kick her off? :)

I’ve been wondering about how many young women may be drawn into being a high end hooker by this event. This young woman will make a fortune from centerfolds and telling her story, and maybe even marry well from this. What a bad example.

I wonder how long it will take for the IRS to get its hooks into her.

Ashley claims she came from a broken home, was poor, was abused etc.

They showed her parents home in NJ last night- probabaly $4-5 million.

She surely was not abused financially growing up.

I'm thinking it's about time for my "tell all" about my fling with Governor Blanco.

Most people thought she was merely incompetent. I know she was just distracted. I really couldn't help myself...she was such a babe...
