“Indian in US admits to smuggling sensitive components to India”
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Washington (PTI): The Indian owner of an international electronics company today pleaded guilty to conspiracy to illegally export restricted components from the US to Indian government entities involved in space programme and production of missiles and fighter jets.
Parthasarathy Sudarsan, 47, CEO of Cirrus Electronics, entered his guilty plea in US District Court for the District of Columbia to the felony charge of conspiracy to violate various laws, including Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
A resident of South Carolina, Sudarshan supplied microprocessors and other electronic components to Indian agencies including the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) and Bharat Dynamics Ltd. (BDL), which is involved in development and production of ballistic missiles, between 2002 and 2006, the US Department of Justice claimed.”
Damn...this is scary stuff.
There’s a lot of interesting stuff going on in our world, today.
The lame-stream-media doesn’t cover and/or gives very little
coverage to hard news.
Proposed deal for a regulator made by Grove Regulators.
In June 2002, Rago Rao, acting on behalf of his customer, Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), in Thiruvananthampuram, India, asked Karni to quote a price on a “12-inch ANSI 300 Mode180 flexflo Regulator, FIN: 11351 NKA-120,” made by Grove Regulators of Elk Grove, IL. VSSC is on the Department of Commerce's Entity List, a list of entities of proliferation concern. Rao told Karni in an email, “Owing to the fact that VSSC are still in the US embargo list, they believe they may not be able to procure it directly (from) the supplier, hence have sent the enquiry to us to see if we can quote to them and supply from some other source.” In quoting Rao, Karni said, “be aware that the end user VSSC has been in direct touch with GROVE and have received already quotes from them, but they have quoted me too, and I will be able to execute the order.” After receiving a quote from Karni, Rao replied, “VSSC needs the item definitely, so if GROVE are willing to supply through you, they will not mind paying the extra price. That is why the end-user contacted us in the first place when he knew he could use our services through South Africa. So, if GROVE do not mind supplying the item to you, knowing that it is meant for VSSC, let us go ahead.” Court records do not show whether the deal was ever completed.

Thanks for the added info endthematrix.
Humm..why do say that?
Yo Chicom, for every one case that involves an Indian, there are 100s that involve your country and I mean the whole damn country full of Hus, Wens and Dengs. How is it that you don’t show any of your concern on threads that post about China?
Oh wait I forgot, you’re paid to post anti-India articles and attempt to make India look as dirty as our country. Keep trying!
Here is a case where an Indian American charged spying for China.
Thank you steelboy for the ping.
I appreciate it.
