Clinton-Obama War Creates Serious Tensions at DailyKos

This is how ugly things have gotten between supporters of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama -- Clinton supporters are staging what they call a "strike" at the influential liberal website DailyKos.

It's not really a "strike" -- blogging for these diarists is not a job, and stopping their blogging won't cause them financial hardship.

But, that said, these diarists' boycott of DailyKos is indicative of the turmoil in which the Democratic party finds itself.

All the comments on the ABC blog website are (unsurprisingly) from democrats, but I did find one comment that made me laugh:

“I believe it is in the best interest of our nation and its citizens, and especially our Progressives and Independents, that this dialogue continue until the Party meets in Denver.

At that time, the superdelegates can exercise the independent judgment to which they are entitled and select the candidate who, through her determination, experience, grit, and ability to carry key states, can best lead the fight against 4 to 8 more years of Republican Presidential leadership.

They hate us far more then they hate each other. They will fight as feverishly as possible up until the end. Then turn right around and act like nothing at all happened to fight us.

I cannot decide if that sort of loyalty in Democrats is a strength or a weakness for them.

I swear it's some kind of mental illness, just not studied as such.......to them it's simply normal to hate traditional American values.

It's disturbing to know some of these fine Kossites are sometimes neighbors.........

hillllereee is behind and will remain behind. I would think she would be embarassed to be “hanging on” like that. She cannot surrender to anyone. The DNC and all the higher powwers should tell her it is time to step down and exit gracefully. She won’t of course. However, she will NOT win the nomination. It will go to Obama. He is ahead now and will only gain as they finish the other primaries. She is scraping the bottom of the barrel desperate for anything she can do to regain control. She is a desperate woman and is practically BEGGING for the nomination. How disgraceful. I would never do that but then again...I am not hilllereee and for that I will be grateful for the rest of my entire life. Go Obama!!!
