I think that you’re wrong because Obama had the attention of that 85% of the people who are not political junkies and he wrote in his books about the wonderful influence of his mentor and religious adviser Jeremiah Wright. He can’t take back those words. Too bad that he didn’t read the book that he claimed to have written, or he would have remembered those words.

I realize you would love to have people turn on Obama, and so would I, but few people who admire a man like Obama will be quick to judge his personality with that of his Pastor. And his book has only sold to a few million readers and is not exactly textbook reading in our schools quite yet.

When we are talking 120 million voters, that only works out to about 1 or 2 % of the voters who have read his book. And of those, only a few of them will resent him or see any contradiction.

Obama was caught in a lie. At the end of the sermon where Wright was ranting about the Clintons, he told the congregation that “O” was here with them, today. Now, he could have meant Oprah, but since he was talking about Obama, I have to think that is who he was referring to.
