I agree with you, but you have to realize that there’s conflicting paths involved - the GOP wants him nominated so Juan can beat him (easy), Hillary wants to become POTUS, she needs to knock him out NOW.

If the democrat primary goes to convention, that’s really only a 2 month campaign between solely mccain and the democrat after it’s done.
In the mean time, obama’s negatives are going higher without mccain having to get himself messy, clinton is ruining the democratic brand for many younger voters who would never trust the dems again if she is nominated and she will ensure that many, many other democrats (blacks, extreme liberals, etc) will not vote for her because of the way she kneecapped their ‘golden boy’ obama.

Obama has pretty much pledged to surrender Iraq immediately, God knows where his true loyalties actually lie. Hillary is despised by great numbers of people, would be thwarted at every turn by incompetence, and likely be bounced in four yeas after surrendering the congress mid term. Besides, have you considered the entertainment value of Bubba as first man?
Besides, consider how splintered the Dems will be after any Clinton nomination victory, no matter how it comes off. If BHO crashes and burns when exposed as a closet race hustler, it will still embitter large number of blacks and young groupies that the Beast will need November, and not have. If she has to pull teeth and overcome a delegate deficit, the fallout will be even worse. Relax and enjoy the spectacle.

Obama was in Chicago for Christmas...was he at TUCC after 9/11? I would be surprised if he didn’t attend the first service after such an event.
