The phrase, "Obama's personal spiritual advisor" is a side-splitter. This guy is on the campaign trail with the Illinois Flash to meet privately with the more radical blacks and black church leaders as Obama goes from state to state, city to city hustling votes.

If Barack needs a daily "spiritual advisor" to accompany him everywhere he goes then he (BO) is not very grounded in his so-called Christian faith. How many of us need a spiritual guru at our side every day?

Well, you could be right, and we do have to be careful, with the intensity of the dem bunch trying to deflect attention elsewhere.

That said, I just sent an email to my son, encouraging him to sign on to FreeRepublic. He is absolutely conservative, and is about fed up with it all. He is retired AF Security Police, served in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Andrews AF Base (when GHWB was vice-pres) and now provides security for special situations in the DC area.

It might really insult him if someone thought he might be a plant.....

Exactly correct. The mainstream media wanted nothing to do with this story. The most recent mention of what Wright was really saying in the mainstream media was in January 2007 editions of the New York Times and Chicago Tribune. But you see, both Hillary and Obama have many friends and supporters in the mainstream media. So when they want a story to get broad, nationwide coverage before a large audience, their staff members leak it to their friends in the news media.
