“Many white people don’t know black people at all.”

If they did, likely they’d realize that racism is hardly a white-only problem.

Perhaps todays focus on race relations will help pave the way (finally!) to a truly color-blind society, rather than a loose association of victimized ethnicities.

Meanwhile, Barack Hussein Obama remains the wrong guy at the wrong time.

When I went to school, there were two black students in our suburban high school. At the magnet school where my daughter attends, the population is about half and half, and is made up entirely of people who WANT to be there because it is the best education you can get, and they have a darn near 100% scholarship rate for college. There is no visible "race problem" because the slackers and malcontents of every shade fail out scholastically. And the bonus is that the teachers can teach and not be prison guards to students too lazy (or too full of entitlement and attitude about it) to learn.

We say that my eldest daughter has no black friends. This is because she has been raised in a family (and a church) that ignores skin color. My daughter has friends, some of whom are black. When I look on her innocence and wisdom, her love and kindness given to her as a gift from Jesus and affirmed by loving parents, I can only contrast it to the bitterness and race-hatred of this little Hitler of a preacher.

And you know what else? My church has split over piddling little issues like whether the projection screen is allowed to be lowered in front of the cross. If Obama has seen even one of these Hate America First And Blame Whitey sermons without standing up and taking his leave, then he is just as guilty of racial hatred and bigotry as his fuhrer.
