I believe that Rush will take credit for a Republican win and no responsibility if Hillary is the new CIC. It most certainly is a dangerous game he is playing and I resent the hell out of his making a bad situation, McCain, worse by keeping Hillary afloat. Much of your post is similar to my thinking, especially that Hillary needed to be cut off at the pass as quickly as possible. My husband sides with Rush but is always hedging the downside just in case I am right. There is more uneasiness with Rush fans than is being admitted on this thread. It is not disloyal to Rush to disagree with a stupid, frat boy prank that has turned a sure defeat for Hillary in the RAT primaries into a probable win for her at the RAT convention. The Clintons have billions of dollar riding on their getting a third term. Billionaires do not flinch from doing whatever is necessary to win. I do not think Rush is playing his game for personal gain, he does not need it. I do think he wants to shake up the Republican party and show them how to get loud and energetic and God knows if this doesn't get the party attention, nothing will. McCain shows almost daily that he is not up to the fight needed to win but he can become the default winner as has been talked about on this forum already. I am glad for the few posters who have taken the time to raise and discuss this Rush strategy with a less than favorable prognosis. Lopsided threads are not particularly enlightening.
