i'm old enough to REMEMBER the integration of Little Rock Central HS (and i knew Daisy Bates!!!).

there was a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the two incidents.

at Little Rock, the ARNG & the 101st were WELCOMED by most everyone in town & were constantly HONORED for their service by even the most extreme of the "demonstrators" & "counter-demonstrators". (after all, southerners are pretty patriotic as a group, UNLIKE the LEFTIST/HATE-filled, "internationalist",FILTH that attacked the recruiting station.)

I don't disagree, but what else in 1957 is anything like this, other than the efforts of other and some of the same moonbats in 1968? Of course I remember events of '68 a whole lot better than those of '57, being 18-19 rather than 7.
