Obama Calls Black Community Racist (But the more likely racists are those who are defending him)

3/18/2008 by David Horowitz

Frontpagemag.com

In his speech this morning, Barack Obama said that he could not disown his white-hating, Jew-hating, America-hating Pastor Jeremiah Wright because that would be the same as disowning the black community. Imagine a white politician saying he couldn't disown David Duke because that would be disowning the white community, and you will understand how utterly Obama has unmasked himself and why he now will never be a unifying candidate that all Americans can trust. This is the end of the Obama phenomenon. It is a painfully transparent case of the racist chickens of the multicultural left coming home to roost.

Or maybe not so transparent. There are many who already are explaining Obama's failure to repudiate his racist pastor as a matter of context. American slavery, segregation and discrimination it is argued make black racism understandable. Nonsense. These excuses are really a form of racism themselves, holding that black people cannot live up to the standards that the rest of us hold ourselves to.

There is no context that would excuse black racism. Being a slave did not make Frederick Douglass a racist; living under segregationist rule did not make Martin Luther King a racist. The Jews have been the most persecuted people on earth for 2000 years yet Jews are in the forefront of every civil rights and human rights movement of our time and one would be hard put to identify a Jewish leader who is a hater of Christians or any other group that has persecuted them. We are not as a nation going to be able to put the legacy of race behind us if we perpetuate the double standard that is at the root of racism. Either we are all equal before the moral law or we are not. Either we repudiate the racists in our midst or we do not. Jeremiah Wright is a prophet of bigotry and hate. Barack Obama is a presidential candidate who will not repudiate bigotry if it comes in a black skin. This is unacceptable. If it is not, we are in deeper trouble as a nation than we suspected. Hate breeds hate. That is a law that no context can change.

This nation just doesn’t need to be wrapped up in this garbage for the next four years.

We need to move above and beyond this. We’ve got greater concerns like the economy, sources of energy, terrorism, China, the dollar, etc.

All Obama brings to the table is that he’s a CIVIL RIGHTS ATTORNEY. We’ve got plenty of civil rights laws already on the books and they need to be enforced. Everything being added now is just more PC BS.

This nation needs to rise above and move beyond the past. All Obama appears to be bringing up is that past. We’ve got serious issues ahead of us and he’s not fit to lead this nation.

If there is one media personality who can decrypt Obama and his radical roots, it is David Horowitz, the man used to be a Black Panther lawyer, he has done the University Radical thing, he knows these folks inside and out.

I am disappointed that this article is so weak, Horowitz knows the Wright’s of the world, and by extension, the Obama’s of the world.

INOW enough with the weak tea, where is the good stuff?

What nerve! For twenty years, Obama belongs to a racist separatist “church” led by a paranoid, foaming-at-the-mouth hater. He exposes his innocent children to the church's hatred and racism. He then presumes to lecture the rest of us on race relations. And some people take him seriously.

Hmm, looks like David read my little missive on a fictional Barry Harold Odell, twenty plus year attendee of a White racist church, bringing his children to this church, and running for the presidential nomination of a mythical political party.

It is amazing.

What happens to Obama now will be largely a test of the electorate’s sense of right and wrong.

The liberal MSM can’t just call Obama on his stupendous lack of judgement in associating with Rev Wright.

The MSM do not see what he has been allowing to inculcate his mind for more than twenty years to be objectionable. Obama obviously doesn’t see it as offensive either, else he wouldn’t have kept his fmaily in this sty. And his lovely wife evidences the effects of this hate-whitey-hustle and hate America rhetoric for twenty years. We are in for an interesting, and perhaps violent few months.

Somewhat true... though much of the electorate is only interested in give and take -- with emphasis on take.

Obama cannot disown the American black community, of which, as a mulatto biological son of an African national, he is really only a nominal member. Having disowned his white community, the angry black community is all he has. He is pathetic and very confused.
