Why doesn't somebody in the guvmint clear up the question of Osama's life or death, once and for all?

All it would take is a public challenge. Even if we just say, "On your next tape, OBL, prove you're alive - hold up a newspaper -- anything."

I hate the fact that we're so passive with respect to OBL. Call him out. What's the downside? If he's alive and he ignores us, the pressure will begin to build. Maybe his "close aides" will even pressure him to prove to the infidels he is alive. I think we need to agitate the AQ organization.

If your enemy considers it a triumph that its leader lives on, at least make them prove it. Why give them a free ride?
