Well, we haven't had a good tip thread here on FR for awhile!

I hate tip jars, AND tipping. I do tip, but the whole thing is outta control, there are tip jars/bowls everywhere.

Let's see, a business wants my patronage, and expects me to pay their employees while they make money off of me. What a scam.

I always put in a buck or something in the jar. Those folks get paid peanuts and work pretty hard. However, if they are rude or something than I can see not giving a tip. The good thing is that now when I go somewhere with a tip jar my service is above reproach.
