“Actually, tribal chiefs in Africa became very prosperous and powerful selling their fellow Africans to anyone with the ready.”
THANK YOU!
I get so tired of hearing this Bravo Sierra about “black slavery.”
Just who does anyone think gathered up these people in Africa to be sold into slavery? George Washington, John Adams, Ben Franklin? LMAO
I KNOW it wasn't any of my ancestors who had problems of their own just trying to survive under the British holocaust in Ireland!

At the time slaving was at its height, Africa was a place no whites could penetrate. Diseases, natural obstacles, lack of knowledge of African languages and various tribal cultures, difficulty introducing much less concluding trade agreements without sympathetic African interpreters ...etc. Take your pick, NO whites could dare travel, trade or conduct a slave enterprise on the African continent without the direct and enthusiastic cooperation of tribal leaders themselves who stood to gain and did gain tremendously by the arrangement.
