Scranton has a very large Irish population. Scranton as well as it’s sister city Wilkes-Barre annually celebrate St. Patrick’s day parade that is in comparison only to NYC.

Yep; Scranton has the 4th largest St Patrick's Parade in the country. Most of the area's Irish ancestors were from County Mayo.

Pittsburgh's St. Patrick's Day Parade is the second largest (w/NYC's being numero uno). Hillary marched in the Pittsburgh Parade first last Saturday (about one and half mile walk) and she was very, very well received there. She walked (in PGH) with Ed Rendell, the Burgh's 'Boy Mayor' Luke Ravenstahl, and the County Council Chair, Dan Onorato. All three endorsed Hillary. The people we were near and chatting with (you are packed like sardines) along the side walk all were of the opinion (kind of savvy in a Dem way) that if PA is the state that puts Hillary back "IN" the race, that she will 'owe' PA bigtime.

For what its worth, Nobama openned his campaigned HQ in dahntahn Pixburgh today, and the Trib reported that dozens of supporters showed up. Dozens!!!
