LONDON (AFP) - US Republican presidential hopeful John McCain Friday discussed the situation in the Middle East and global warming with former British prime minister Tony Blair, the ex-premier's spokesman said.
Blair met with McCain in London as well as US senators Joe Lieberman and Lindsey Graham, McCain's colleagues on the Senate Armed Services Committee who are travelling with him, the spokesman told AFP.
"They met, but also, obviously with Senator Lieberman and Senator Graham. The subjects they spoke about were the Middle East and climate change," he said.
McCain, who is on a week-long tour of Europe and the Middle East, met with Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Thursday and is next set to go to France, after having already visited Iraq, Jordan and Israel.
Blair, who stepped down as prime minister last year, is now a Middle East peace envoy, and is also heading a team of international experts charged with securing a deal to combat climate change.
Two dreaded words that ecompass all but says nothing “global warming” started by a boob who wanted to get back into the public’s eye. Shameless!
Sorry. That’s “encompass”.
No problem, Thanks!.
:-)
I’d like to thank (ahead of time) everyone conservative who votes for McCain... /s
...maybe it will be a Republican who first enacts a global warming tax.

Is Grahamnesty that short,, wow, that pic makes Lieberman look like a giant.. ;-)
I think McCain is supposed to be 5’7”—so that would make Graham about 5’5” or so?
Talking global warming with the frenchies, too.

McCain was in Paris for a matter of hours at the end of a weeklong tour of the Middle East and Europe. He was traveling as part of a U.S. congressional delegation including Sens. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. that visited Iraq, Jordan, Israel and London.
The delegation discussed a range of issues with Sarkozy, from climate warming and nuclear energy to the Middle East crisis, Iraq and Afghanistan, where France has troops.
McCain praised the state of U.S. relations with France, crediting Sarkozy, who was elected in May, with the high level of ties after years of tension that followed Paris’ lead role in opposing the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq five years ago.
“I think our relations with France will improve no matter who is the president of the United States,” he said.

I wish I could be eloquent, but all I have to say is, “McCain is an idiot”. HC may be a maniacal socialist manipulator and BO is a racists huckster, but you have to admit we have an idiot for our candidate.
