The ridiculous reporter snarkiness in this article is yet another reason all journalists are rightly considered lower than pond scum, by every modern civilized human being. Liberals don't count, I said "civilized". Journalist themselves don't count either, I said "human being".

China is a world power? But the Kyoto treaty classified it as a developing nation. I guess China gets to be whatever it wants to be depending on which position is more advantageous in the circumstances.

lol.. I agree, it’s one crowded pond, huh? between quite a few politicos these days and the media hand puppets.. real crowded.

I like McCain — a lot. But sometimes I get the feeling he is saying things that he doesn’t totally agree with, just because he thinks he has to.

Never in my life did I expect to see a “conservative” French president. A European buddy of mine says McCain has been very well received.

Never in my life did I think that the word “conservative” would be used in such creative ways as to inlcude Schwarzenegger, McCain, and Sarkozy. ;-)

Sarkozy calls for UN-led "new world order", Sep 25, 2007
New York - The United Nations should avail itself as an instrument for a 'new world order of the 21st century,' French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Tuesday in his first address to the General Assembly.
Sarkozy, who won the presidency this year on a strong reform platform to modernize France, urged the world body to embark on programmes ranging from equal wealth distribution to fighting corruption in his speech full of references to France's past revolutionary ideals.
'In the name of France, I call upon all states to join ranks in order to found the new world order of the 21st century on the notion that the common goods that belong to all of humankind must be the common responsibility for us all,' he told the General Assembly.
The UN should ensure access for all human beings to vital resources, such as water, energy, food, medication and knowledge, he said. He called for 'more morality' in 'financial capitalism' and a fairer distribution of profits, earnings in commodities, raw materials and new technologies.

McCain, meeting with Sarkozy and Blair, is looking presidential.

Well, obviously McCain knows the story with al qaeda and Iraq — his comments pretending he didn’t were actually quite brilliant, IMO. That’s not what I meant. I was talking about what he said to Sarkozy about the Palestinians.
To: grantinev
First time I have ever seen McCain and brilliant in the same sentence.

We have bloggers these days, they are the honest press. The so called "main stream" press are just commies from a generation back who went where the power was, to serve in MiniTrue for the glorious blood-soaked Party.
