Sorry I have to disagree with you here on points one and two. The problem is when the Church jettisons the Truth and not the different expressions of the Truth. How we dress (to a point) and how we may sing praise are not the issues. I completely agree with the rest of the list however.

You completely miss the issue.

Ronald Reagan did not enter the Oval Office without a jacket and tie, because of his deep respect for the place. I don't enter a church in cut-off jeans for the same reason.

God doesn't care about the clothes - but if you cruise into church with a "hey, it's casual day at the office!" mentality, lots of other things will eventually slide. There's a reason why corporate America cut way back on the casual day thing.

Did you guys sleep through the Sixties and Seventies, or something?

I’m with Deaner as well horse_doc. Clothes and the type of music people like are completely irrelevant to what is being taught in the church and whether there are followers of Christ there. I know a man who became a Christian and ran youth groups, took care of the grounds and the like (it was a church with a lot of older members so he was active and got a lot piled on him just because so many were old and tired there). He left the church when he heard some people talking bad about him because he wore his good clothes to church . . . which weren’t “good clothes” to those people . . . you know short sleeve shirts and his newest pants which were kind of old.
