WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton had the Democratic presidential campaign trail to herself, but the camp of vacationing rival Barack Obama challenged the former first lady on her claim to have landed in Bosnia 12 years ago under sniper fire. Clinton characterized the episode as a “misstatement” and a “minor blip.” Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor said in a written statement Monday that her story “joins a growing list of instances in which Senator Clinton has exaggerated her role in foreign and domestic policy-making.”
Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson countered that the Obama campaign was only raising the issue because “they have nothing positive to say about their candidate.”

Now is the time to get dirt out as the MSM doesn’t know yet what story line to follow as the unfavorable stories are bubbling to the surface. If this continues till the convention with increasingly more and more unfavorable stories coming to light it can only help J Mc.
Having said that, this is exactly how an election for president should go. It wouldn’t have to go this long if we had a media that did its job and plumbed the depths of the candidates character AND positions responsibly.

Of course, Obama has every right to criticize his opponent for lack of foreign policy experience. After all, he told us that he lived in a foreign country for a couple of years as a child and that makes him an expert.

Isn’t that the dumbest comeback to say when your candidate gets caught lying. My goodness you would think he could of said something better then that.
I would have liked for this to have waited. I want her to do well in PA and the next few states to continue the “Democratic Delema”. But something like this is hard to spin. CBS is on the OBAMA train and is now going after it. Expect the Late Night Shows to parody it.
