Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, responding to the mother of a Republican state legislator, said Wednesday it would be a "big mistake" to blame illegal immigrants for the state's looming $8 billion budget problem.

The Republican governor was in San Luis Obispo to pitch his budget proposal to local officials and business leaders when he was asked by Diane Blakeslee, mother of Assemblyman Sam Blakeslee, R-San Luis Obispo, how the state should handle fiscal burdens created by illegal immigrants.

"There is, you know, always a time like this where you start pointing the finger at various different elements of what creates the budget mess, and, you know, some may point the finger at illegal immigrants," Schwarzenegger said. "I can guarantee you, I have been now four years in office in Sacramento, I don't think that illegal immigration has created the mess that we are in."

Let's look at the cost of education alone.
I was told it is $7,000 for a regular citizen kid and $14,000 for an illegal kid.

After you do the math of $14,000 times the millions of illegal kids you get probably near 3 billion of debt a year right there.

We ban illegals in school without payment from their countries and we save 8 billion in a couple of years.

Add to that the cost of medical, the lack of tax payments a year and probably the state goes 5 or more billion a year in debt with illegals without a doubt.

Educate the kids in a tent city or make the illegals go pay for baby sitters.

Folks, I happen to agree with Schwarzenegger. The problem we now face was caused by a legal immigrant that:

1. Refused to make the cuts he promised
2. Refused to deport Illegal Alien Crimmigrants
3. Refused to take on the teacher’s unions and get the money they waste into the classroom
4. Refused to reign in the out of control state commissions
5. Refused to reign in the environmentalist movements that receive state dollars
6. Refused to stop universities from wasting money, time and other resources trying to brainwash graduate students and brow beat businesses and private owners with tyranical environmentalist hogwash

Of course, the Governator proposes his budget, but the Legislature porks it up beyond all recognition. He can use the line item veto to eliminate specific programs, but not to scale any back. In other words, if he wants $10 dollars to study the effects of Britney Spears’ lost underwear on the reproductive habits of the Death Valley Spotted Mudskipper, he can either accept the legislature’s increase of that budget item to $2.5 million or veto the whole thing. He can’t cross out $2.5 million and write in $10.
