Frankly I was under the impression the Hildabeast was a Moslem, a Bosnian Moslem to be sure ~ hence her fondness for pork, but think of it this way, her husband abused her horribly, he ran around with all sorts of women openly and frequently, he even had his way with his young mistress right in the main room of his home and she was expected to just keep her mouth shut and take it.
