You need to see what the press did during the Vietnam war, to understand how they are manipulating us today. Our major news media are a disgrace and nothing but propaganda mills that only make the USA look bad.

Thanx for post-will ck out video.Kinda off topic,but the msm quote polls that indicate the Iraq War is unpopular with the majority of the American public.My question(rhetorical)is this.If the msm put as much energy and effort into reporting the positive accomplishments of our military in Iraq as they do the negative-would the perception of the American public re:Iraq be as negative as the msm claims?Just like VN-the msm are doing their utmost to sabotage our efforts.I’d go as far as to call it treasonous.

I beg to differ.
*If* you get that opinion, it’s probably passed to you from the very same people in the MSM that this article addresses.
Only problem the MSM has now is that the mirror they’re holding up to reflect what’s going on is distorted by their own lies and getting so tiny (both in their ability to create the crap and the audience that considers them credible) that the MSM is rapidly approaching a righteous extinction.

Sorry, but I get *my* opinion from the likes of Code Pink and others rising up across America spewing their crap, just as they did when I came home. It isn’t the general public opposing them it is us.
I see and hear people everyday crying out about how the Army is once again “broken” and politicians crying “failure” in speeches.
*If* the D***ed public had learned better, *We* wouldn’t need to be countering them every where they raise their ugly mugs!
That the so many in the general public continue to fall for the tripe spewed by the lamestream media and go about their day to day acvtivities without a care speaks a lot.
