The Left--whose Political Machine, in the United States, is the Democrat Party and whose Propaganda Machine is the "Mainstream Newsmedia"--and which has come to dominate Europe and the United Nations--hates democracies and loves dictators.
The Leftists' Dream is a world-wide police state with themselves as ruling oligarchy. The form this takes is of little interest to them--a world-wide Stalinist/communist state, Islamic theocracy, Third Reich (i.e. national socialism) or whatever. What they envision is themselves ruling the people of the world with an iron grip and laws with teeeth in them (i.e. draconian and severe).
This is the Leftist Dream.
It contrasts powerfully with the American Dream: liberty, justice, and prosperity for all the people of the world.
There is no place in the Leftist Dream for liberty.
As for justice--the oligarchy will decide what that is on an ad hoc basis.
And prosperity? The oligarchy will be prosperous--make no mistake about that! But they will reserve the right to dispense...prosperity...as they see fit. Make no mistake about that either!
