Ping... Hillary's most prominent African-American supporter has said he would've quit TUCC.
Obama Wright Issues Ping List
If you would like on or off the Obama/Wright Issues Ping List. Please respond to this post, or send me a Freepmail. (Keyword for Search: ObamaWrightList).
WARNING: This will most likely be a High-Volume List, but hopefully it will be a short-lived list (as in hopefully Obama will no longer be a factor soon!).
NOTE: If you run across an article here at FR or elsewhere on the web, drop me a ping, or send me a Freepmail with the URL so I can add it here, or ping the list as appropriate.
Thanks!

This is a big deal. The Clintons took a long time to enter racial politics, but they will do it deftly and devastatingly.

"Philly Mayor Would Quit Obama Church. And done what? Gone down the street a joined another that is every bit as dogmatic, racist, seditionist and secessionist as Pastor Wright's. These 'Indoctrination Centers' masquerading as places of legitimate worship are everywhere, in every Inner City and Wright's church is only getting attention because of Obama. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of them.
We are in for a very difficult Summer and thereafter IMO.

Michael Nutter can disown the Rev. Wright's church. Why couldn't Obama?

Wright preached that the U.S brought on the 9/11 attacks with its own "terrorism." He also said the government "wants us to sing 'God Bless America'" but that it should be "God damn America" ... Normally when a preacher talks of damnation they usually offer some hope or path to salvation to the damned. It is my sense that the only path to salvation open to me in the reverends eyes would be to become Black.

>Nutter met with both senators before deciding his endorsement.
He brushes aside those who say he did not back Obama because Obama endorsed someone else for mayor.
Uh huh...

My thoughts exactly: if Obama believed what he heard from Wright for 20 years then I question his judgement; if Obama supported (for 20 years) a preacher he didn’t believe in I question his integrity.

It doesn't take more than a Sunday School education about Jesus to understand that if you leave church angrier than when you arrive, something is wrong.
The thought that Obama didn't stop going to Wright's church reveals his relationship with Christ wasn't as strong as his relationship with Wright's church.
Obama chose to follow a crowd of more then 5000 parishioners rather than what he claims to know from the Scriptures about Christ.
While I can forgive him, I certainly don't think he's smart enough to lead my country.
Obama needs some Sunday School 101

More important than the Rev JWright issue, Obama has promised to raise capital gains taxes to 28%.

Obama has been unable or unwilling to defend America as a 20-year participating member of a congregation that regularly heard America slandered, cursed and vilified by its pastor - with the explicit condoning of this by the congregation.
Having knowledge of that, why would anyone in their right mind, and possessing basic DNA survival chromosomes, allow him to assume the Highest Office in the land - which would give him life and death power over every man and woman in our nation's armed forces and assuredly over everyone of us, our families, our descendants?

I like Michael Nutter, and so do many Philadelphians. If they follow Nutter’s lead, Obama may lose the black vote in Philly.
I am sure that most black mothers and grandmothers in Philly do NOT look upon their precious babies as being “punishments”. Even though only 50% of them are married, and a large percentage had their babies when they were teenagers.
