The interesting aspect is that I did a 50-minute interview with the editors of the Hendersonville News-Times. We discussed more than a dozen subjects, plus my background.
Yet the ONLY subject that made it into print was my position on the Iraq War. That's the least favored of the positions I have taken. Why would the paper do that?
Well, the Times-News is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the NY Times, don't you see? They want Heath Shuler to survive. And the editors view me as a problem in that regard.
