But what would a Democrat presidential candidate speech without the justified need for fact checking?

local talk radio host was reading from Dreams of My Father, written age 33, recalling incidents 15 + years before. Novelesque dialogue with more detail than i remember from conversations yesterday. Obviously, he makes stuff up as he goes along. The political equivalent of Jayson Blair.

Regarding his statement about the airlift, maybe he was so desirous to credit the Kennedys for his very existence that he didn’t think to check the specifics behind it. This one could be an innocent mistake?
