(see Obamamania post below) Right-wing activists had already begun to take it out of context on blogs and TV talk shows. Shortly thereafter, Rolling Stone magazine published "The Radical Roots of Obama," quoting one of Wright's ribald sermons out of context. (In fact, according to the church, Wright was quoting someone else at that moment.)
