I’ve made exactly the same point on this forum more than once. After four years of McCain, the country will, in all likelihood, be farther to the left than if either Hillary or Obama is President. The GOP will fight Hillobama tooth and nail, but neither they nor the Democrats will fight the loony lefty impulses of McCain.
