To: No Dems 2004; Jim Robinson

Jim knows I respect that we are guests here. He has always allowed us “respectful” free speech.

Years ago we came here for a common effort. Those were grand, good old days. Day’s when people actually met and rallied in DC and curbside.

I believe Jim is an “Independent”. I also respect that. In Alaska we could register as Bi-Partisans. Today, we are registered Republicans. We prefer Republican and Independent platforms.

I must register my opinion on this post. I totally disagree with the premises of Jim’s statement. (Sorry Jim, I know you’re passionate about it, and I respect that.)

We also disagree with Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

Despite their remarks, Senator McCain has won, legitimately, the delegates needed to run as the nominee for President for the Republican Party. Legally and fairly.

Those who are Republican, Independent or otherwise, in our opinion, should respect the majority rule. (Those of us who did vote for Senator McCain.)

That is the way our government operates.

I’ve said it before on this forum, very recently in fact, conservatives should take lessons on being “loyal” to their candidates from the Liberals. You don’t hear this kind of hate and smearing of their candidates from them. They don’t “eat their own” so to speak.

We believe it’s what cost us, both in the House and the Senate the last time.

Lets pray it doesn’t cost us the Presidency too.

Watching the lack of support President Bush has had over the last 8 years (and admiring how he didn’t stoop to their level of hatred and smear tactics back, under extreme pressure) and now Senator McCain, we will rue the day we did the unthinkable and allowed either Democratic candidate to win.

Let’s just hope and pray that doesn’t happen. May cooler heads prevail. Senator McCain is NOT the enemy!

To say it’s frustrating to us, is an understatement.

We’d like to see Americans putting our troops and the war effort before their personal likes or dislikes. The unborn babies before these things too.

Because we guarantee you, the democratic candidates will not have our best interests in mind. All the things people are saying Sen. McCain will do will pale by comparison to the alternative candidate...

Think also of our troops and our allies in the middle east.

FRegards
