I just came back from Paris w/ my wife. Half of the Louvre is filled with religous paintings.
Note I said TEXT not merely religious themes, as evidently it was the text the teacher objected to. I’ve been to Europe too...as far as I know text put within paintings is relatively rare, but, occasionally it is there.
What are you going to do with the other half? (How did you get them past Customs?)
